Oh Allama, answer me!
Where does death’s final breath converge?
In the embrace of those who love and cherish?
Or in the hearts of those who despise and made me perish?
Perhaps in the stillness of captivity’s imprisonment,
Or in the freedom found in death’s announcement?

ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೋ ?
ದ್ವೇಷಿಸುವವರ ಮನದಲ್ಲಿಯೋ ?
ಬಂಧನದಲ್ಲಿಯೋ ?
ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೋ ?
